was a variety show that celebrated women with guest speaker Helen Pankhurst who spoke about her new book " Deeds not words"

The show was created en light on our live event module at university, me and other members had to host an event with a maximum attendance of 120 people. We create and managed every aspect of the event from budgeting, social media and artists.
By using social media such as Facebook and Instagram as a cheap marketing alternative we managed to attract and develop the event around our attendees by using hashtags and polls to create an image of the event. Various press releases were also done with local newspapers and bulletins which allowed us to spread the word to local communities in the area.
The event was a huge success and a great learning curve for all the member our lecturers we thrilled and we scored a 75. We hit our aims and objectives which were to break-even, educate people on women's history, the event made a £260 pound profit.
